Louis Carr grew up near a church. The sanctity of the church made Carl yearn for it, whether it be the holy water in the fountain, the angel statue on the pavilion pillar, or the Bible in the hands of the Lord Father, all of which can bring him such a holy dream.Gradually, Carl grew up, and his dream he had always dreamed of became a reality. As he wished, Carl became a monk. The monks’ daily routine is very relaxed. In addition to studying the Bible in church during the day, Carl would go to the homes of the residents of the town to actively help explain the teachings. The Lord Father will always explain the Bible to Carl, who has always followed the holy light in his heart and is determined to bring God’s love and redemption to the world.
Carl likes to read under the palm tree at the church gate on sunny days. The sunlight filtered through the layers of tree shade, leaving a beautiful shadow on Carl’s handsome face. Over time, the ladies of the town often choose this time to visit the church. Perhaps there is some special reason why ladies are so eager to visit the church, but Carl doesn’t care, and his God should not.
On this day, he was still reading under the book, but he was a bit sleepy, so he put the book on his face and fell asleep. He was awakened by a woman’s voice. The woman was murmuring under the tree, her shoe tips constantly kicking stones. The woman didn’t find him. “Jennifer has gone too far, why don’t I deserve to enter the church?” he still muttered
Carl sounded curious and quietly pulled the book away from his face. I saw the woman’s face, with a beautiful face, and now I’m holding my breath. Carl couldn’t help but smile when he saw it, but he didn’t expect to be noticed by the woman. The woman was frightened, glanced at him, and hurried away.
The next day, the Bishop was not present, and Carl was in the confessional instead of the Bishop. In the afternoon, a guest arrived
The sound is a bit familiar. Carl thought. In the following statement, Carl learns the identity of the woman, who is a prostitute in the town. But she has a different soul, her soul is so pure, and her experience is so tragic. However, the filth of the earth did not contaminate her soul. Carl has been behind the white curtain, enlightening her, and slowly entering her heart. Unexpectedly, the woman also entered his heart.
After the woman had been here for a while, and had not come back, Carl realized that he was a bit in love with this pure minded girl. However, the teachings of the church clearly stipulate that monks should renounce unfeeling love and only seek to become angels of God. Carl’s heart seemed to be bound by thorns, and every move of heart made him feel the beauty of love. However, the teachings of the church were like thorns on thorns, which always pierced his heart.
One day, Carl happened to encounter her while teaching teachings in the town. After speaking, he looked up and saw her gaping.
In the next few days, Carl had a very happy time, but the sense of guilt caused by it tormented him. Every time I return to the church, the angels in the courtyard seem to face each other coldly.
Finally, he arrived at the confessional room. He decided to self exile, and he felt that he should also be abandoned by God. At the same time, I also feel that separation may be a better option. The girl was not wrong, but he didn’t control himself well. One night, he left without saying goodbye.
After learning that Carl had left, the girl was seriously ill.
After Carl left, he repented every night. But neither faith nor love can defy expectations. But every night when it’s difficult to fall asleep, the girl’s smile is his source of courage until dawn the next day. His heart was tormented with pain.
On that night, there were many unexpected stars in the sky. In the desert, he saw the picture of his beloved girl saying goodbye to him. A flicker of unease welled up in his heart.
That night, he went back. But the beloved girl finally left.
I heard that when the girl died, she said, “Don’t disturb the person I love, wait until he wants to.”
It is said that Carl has been wandering in the desert for the rest of his life, and sometimes he thinks of his girl.
Note: “There is a saying in the Bible that don’t disturb the person I love, wait for him to be willing.”
